I know it's winter here in the Ohio Valley and garden fresh produce is a scarcity, but we do have some greenhouse grown veggies here on Saturdays. There are fresh eggs, homemade cheeses, chicken, beef, pork, rabbit and lamb. We have our usual condiments, syrups, jams and jelly. Fresh baked, some still warm from the oven, baked goods and breads.
Our events and advertising committees are meeting and planning this years event calender. As soon as our list becomes available I will be posting it here as well as a reminder before each event so it's fresh on your minds. We enjoy having these events for our customers appreciation. We are here to serve our community hopefully to the betterment of your health and your enjoyment.
Our artisans are busy making new product for their stands with offerings for the upcoming season. Don't forget Valentines day is not far off. I'm sure you can find something here for that special someone, wheather it be child or adult or pet. We have much to offer.
we are on our winter hours at this time thru the end of April.
Open 9:00 am to 1:00pm every Saturday.
Come on by and say hello. We all look forward to your visits.

Can you believe it is December 1st already. Where did this year go????
Things are beginning to look rather festive around the market . Getting ready for our annual Christmas give away. Beginning today we will be handing out tickets for our free Christmas raffle, and every Saturday until the big drawings on Dec. 22. Santa will be here on that day and WNUS radio station will be doing a live remote. There will be cookies coffee and hot apple cider for all. Have your child or children drop off their letter for Santa in the basket on the gift table.
Come on by and finish off that Christmas gift list right here. There are lots to choose from and something for everyone on your list. Reasonable prices and smiling faces to greet you. No pushing and shoving and grumpy shoppers or sales people. Everything is made right here in your local area. No shipped in stuff from who knows where. You can talk to the maker / grower in person. It just doesn't get any better than that and we are always happy to see you and to serve.
Come on out and say hello. Your neighbors will probably be here as well.

Nov 24th at The Market

Tomorrow is small Business Saturday, the day after Black Friday.
The River City Farmers Market consists of small business owners who are members of your local community who come together every Saturday to offer their best for your purchasing pleasure. Buying from them is helping your community to grow and prosper rather than some unknown in a foreign country.
This year why not put them first on your shopping list. There is much to be found there, something for everyone and for any and every occasion.
I do hope you will come by and see for yourself. You may even find your neighbor or best friend there.
Beginning the first Saturday in December we will once again be giving out free tickets to be drawn at our Annual Christmas at the Market event on the last Saturday before Christmas . Be sure you stop in and get yours for a chance to win a prize made by one or some of our members. It's a gala time and lots of fun.
Hope to see you all at the market tomorrow.
Have a blessed Day
