With the long, hot, dry summer behind us, the Market is in full bloom with autumn veggies, apples, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and peppers galore in all degrees of heat ,beautiful mums and lots, lots more.

Now is the time to get started on your homes'  fall look.  Outside the pumpkins and mums give your home the curb appeal that all your neighbors will enjoy .
Inside get those pumpkins and apples ready for pies, cookies, Jack 0 Lanterns and more.  Don't want to make them yourselves?  Buy them from our bakers here at the market.  You can even order for that special occasion.. .

 For those of you who do like to bake, we have included a tasty and easy Sweet Potato Casserole  Recipe (soon to become a tradition):

                SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE

CASSEROLE INGREDIENTS;
3 cups mashed sweet potatoes (3-4 lbs.)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 to 1/2 cup milk
TOPPING INGREDIENTS;
1 Cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped nuts

Cook potatoes, drain and mash. Add remaining casserole ingredients. Pour into a buttered long baking dish. Mix Topping ingredients and spread over top of potatoes, bake 20-30 minutes @ 350 degrees.  You can drop the topping on top of potatoes - it will spread out as it bakes
